Job Description

Key Responsibilities

a)   Own and drive aggressive business development and revenue growth across pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition

b)   Proactively identify, qualify, and convert high-value opportunities in scientific content, medico-marketing, and brand communication services

c)   Leverage existing networks and build strategic relationships with key decision-makers across marketing, medical, and brand teams—especially within leading MNC pharma organizations

d)   Utilize deep understanding of client organizational structures and stakeholder mapping to accelerate access, shorten sales cycles, and unlock cross-functional opportunities

e)   Develop and deliver compelling, insight-led pitches and customized solutions aligned to client product strategies and lifecycle needs

f)    Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle—from prospecting and pipeline creation to negotiation, closure, and rapid account scaling

g)   Partner closely with internal medical, content, and creative teams to translate client needs into high-impact, differentiated solutions

h)   Build and maintain a strong, forward-looking pipeline aligned with business targets and global expansion priorities

i)    Support and execute go-to-market strategies for both domestic and international markets, with a focus on scalable growth

j)    Contribute actively to global sales initiatives and drive expansion into new geographies and therapy areas

k)   Continuously track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging therapy areas to identify whitespace opportunities and strengthen positioning

Key Requirements

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; MBA (or equivalent business qualification) strongly preferred

·        8–10 years of proven experience in pharma sales, medico-marketing, or healthcare business development, with a clear hunter track record

·        Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets, with strong ownership of pipeline creation and deal closure

·        Well-established network within pharmaceutical companies—particularly MNCs—with direct access to key decision-makers across marketing, medical, and brand functions

·        Strong understanding of pharma marketing ecosystems, scientific content development, and brand communication strategies

·        Experience in acquiring and managing key accounts, with the ability to scale relationships and drive long-term revenue growth

·        Familiarity with organizational structures, stakeholder mapping, and navigating complex buying environments within pharma companies

·        Exposure to global markets and experience working with international clients or cross-border teams is highly preferred

·        Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

·        High degree of ownership, agility, and a results-driven mindset, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment

  • Experience within medico-marketing agencies, healthcare consulting, or pharma marketing environments, with strong exposure to client-facing roles
  • Ability to translate complex scientific and clinical data into compelling, commercially viable solutions and business opportunities
  • Strong industry network across pharma and healthcare, with demonstrated ability to open doors and build strategic relationships
  • Exposure to digital marketing and omnichannel engagement strategies, including content-driven campaigns and HCP/patient engagement models
  • Strategic thinking combined with execution excellence, with the ability to identify whitespace opportunities and convert them into revenue streams
