Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven Manager to scale our Gold Loan business across digital, branch-assisted, and partner-led channels. This role will focus on driving disbursements through a digital-first approach, optimizing the lending funnel, and delivering a seamless customer experience across app, web, and assisted journeys. The candidate will also play a key role in product innovation, analytics, and ecosystem partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
. Digital & Assisted Business Growth
- Drive Gold Loan disbursements through digital channels (app, web) and assisted models (branches, field teams, partners).
- Own business targets across acquisition, disbursement, renewals, and cross-sell.
- Identify growth opportunities across customer segments using data-driven insights.
- Work with distribution teams to scale sourcing through branch-assisted and partner networks.
. Lending Funnel Ownership & Optimization
- Own the end-to-end digital lending funnel-from lead generation to disbursement and renewals.
- Monitor and optimize key metrics such as conversion rates, drop-offs, turnaround time (TAT), and cost per acquisition (CPA).
- Identify bottlenecks and implement experiments (A/B testing, journey redesign, nudges) to improve funnel efficiency.
- Collaborate with tech and product teams to enhance user journeys and onboarding flows.
. Product & Platform Management
- Work closely with product, tech, and UX teams to build and enhance digital Gold Loan journeys (KYC, gold valuation, loan booking, servicing).
- Drive features such as instant eligibility, digital renewals, part-payments, and top-ups.
- Gather customer insights and feedback to continuously improve product experience.
- Benchmark against competitors and introduce innovative features to stay ahead.
. Marketing & Growth Initiatives
- Plan and execute performance marketing campaigns (digital ads, affiliates, partnerships) to drive acquisition.
- Work with marketing teams on targeted campaigns, lifecycle journeys (SMS, WhatsApp, email), and engagement strategies.
- Drive localized and hyper-personalized campaigns using customer data.
- Optimize acquisition channels for ROI and scalability.
. Risk, Credit & Compliance
- Work with credit and risk teams to ensure adherence to underwriting policies, LTV norms, and portfolio quality benchmarks.
- Monitor early warning signals, delinquency trends, and renewal behavior.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, audit requirements, and internal policies.
- Balance growth with portfolio quality and risk controls.
. Partner & Vendor Ecosystem
- Manage partnerships with gold valuation agencies, logistics providers, storage vendors, and collection partners.
- Explore and onboard new partners for sourcing, servicing, and distribution.
- Ensure SLA adherence and operational efficiency across the ecosystem.
. Data, MIS & Analytics
- Track and analyze business metrics, customer behaviour, and funnel performance.
- Build dashboards and MIS reports for leadership reviews.
- Use data to drive decision-making across growth, product, and operations.
Key Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory).
- 8-12 years of experience in lending, preferably Gold Loans, secured lending, or digital lending (fintech/NBFC/bank).
- Strong understanding of Gold Loan processes, valuation, LTV norms, and credit lifecycle.
- Proven experience in managing digital funnels, performance marketing, or online lending journeys.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (product, tech, marketing, risk).
- Familiarity with digital tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, SQL, dashboards), and experimentation frameworks.
- Strong business acumen with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in fintech or digital-first lending platforms.
- Exposure to customer journey design, UX thinking, or growth/product roles.
- Experience in vendor/partner ecosystem management.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, and digital onboarding/KYC processes.
- Certifications in lending/credit or analytics are a plus.
