Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development & Lead Generation:

  • Conduct market research to identify business opportunities in Automotive, Industrial, Defence and Aerospace sectors.
  • Generate and nurture leads, follow up with potential clients, and convert them into long-term business relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and expand customer base.

Client Engagement & Sales Process:

  • Present company offerings effectively to both new and existing clients.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, manage RFQs, and oversee end-to-end sales processes.
  • Develop and present techno-commercial proposals with a strong focus on value proposition and ROI.
  • Manage pricing, quotation, purchase order follow-ups, invoicing, and collections.

Industry & Technical Expertise:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Automotive and Industrial Electronics, NPI/NPD cycles, and technical requirements.
  • Review technical specifications, assist in proposal drafting, and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless pre-sales and post-sales support.

Marketing & Brand Positioning:

  • Drive marketing campaigns and identify strategic forums for brand visibility.
  • Contribute to marketing collateral, including case studies, fliers, presentations, and blogs.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, technical forums, and client visits.

Business Strategy & Reporting:

  • Set and achieve quarterly sales targets with a structured business plan.
  • Propose and manage budgets for promotional activities.
  • Provide market intelligence on trends, competition, and demand shifts.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly business reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Business Development, with a proven track record in winning long-term deals.
  • Strong experience in ODM/OEM business models and successfully delivering programs securing long-term contracts.
  • Extensive network within Automotive, Process Automation, Defense, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharma, and IoT industries (India & Global).
  • Strong techno-commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth in electronics manufacturing and embedded systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel (domestic & international) as required.
