About the Role:
- We are looking for a senior sales professional to open and grow new enterprise business across South India. This is a hunting role for someone who comes with their own network and can start conversations with senior decision-makers in security, facilities, workplace, IT and admin teams.
- You will set up first meetings, understand what the customer needs, and build a healthy pipeline. In the beginning you will sell alongside the sales leadership on live deals. As you build a track record, you will take complete ownership of closing deals yourself. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through your own network, referrals, outbound and channel partners.
- Reach the right buyers across security, facilities, workplace, IT and admin functions.
- Set up and run first meetings, understand customer needs, and map the people involved in the decision.
- Present Veris products – visitor management, access control, desk and meeting room booking, and mobile credentials.
- Work with sales leadership to take deals through demo, commercials and closure.
- Build and manage relationships with system integrators, MSPs and distributors.
- Keep the CRM updated with accurate pipeline and forecast.
- Share market and product feedback with the leadership and product teams.
Role Requirements
- 10+ years in B2B enterprise sales or business development.
- A track record of building your own pipeline.
- An existing network among security, facilities, workplace, real estate or IT buyers.
- Experience selling solutions that combine software and hardware, such as access control, biometrics, visitor management or video surveillance.
- Experience working with channel partners – integrators, MSPs and distributors.
- Comfortable presenting to CXOs and senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship skills.
- Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-growing company.
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science) & MBA is a plus.
