As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive strategic vendor partnerships and client acquisition in the US staffing market.

Role Overview

The Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving new business growth, establishing Tier-1 vendor relationships, and generating consistent staffing opportunities for GTSSMinds.

This role requires a strong hunter mindset, proven experience in acquiring Tier-1 vendors and direct clients, and the ability to translate client relationships into successful placements and revenue growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesTier-1 Vendor & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and onboard Tier-1 vendors, staffing partners, and direct enterprise clients
  • Establish relationships with vendor managers, procurement leaders, and hiring managers
  • Secure preferred vendor partnerships and staffing agreements

Business Development & Pipeline Growth

  • Generate consistent IT staffing requirements from vendors and direct clients
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Drive strategic growth for the US staffing practice

Delivery Collaboration

  • Work closely with recruitment and delivery teams in India
  • Ensure quick turnaround for candidate submissions and interview coordination
  • Align client expectations with recruiting teams

Placement & Revenue Ownership

  • Drive the entire lifecycle from requirement generation candidate submission placement
  • Negotiate billing rates, margins, and contract terms
  • Achieve quarterly revenue and placement targets

Market Intelligence

  • Track opportunities through MSP/VMS platforms (Fieldglass, Beeline, IQNavigator, etc.)
  • Monitor technology hiring trends and rate benchmarks
  • Identify new vendor networks and staffing programs

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New Tier-1 vendor partnerships established
  • Direct client accounts opened
  • Monthly job requirements generated
  • Candidate placements
  • Revenue growth and margins

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in US IT staffing business development
  • Proven success in Tier-1 vendor acquisition and management
  • Strong experience working with MSP / VMS staffing environments
  • Track record of consistent placements and revenue generation
  • Experience working with US clients and vendor managers
