About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives, acquire new clients, and drive revenue growth for our IT services business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, IT services, client relationship management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles including lead generation, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, industry events, and partnerships.

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand client business needs and propose tailored IT solutions and services.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Market & Strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align business strategies and service offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior business development executives.
  • Work closely with delivery, pre-sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful project onboarding and execution.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • MBA is preferred.

Experience

  • 8–10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT/Software Services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in selling services such as software development, web/mobile app development, cloud solutions, AI/ML, digital transformation, or IT consulting.
