Senior Business Development Manager (Staffing)

Summary:
Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth through new client acquisition, strategic account development, and revenue generation within the staffing and workforce solutions industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with recruiting and delivery teams to provide staffing solutions that meet client workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across targeted industries and markets.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, social selling, and industry events.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet quarterly and annual targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Understand client hiring needs and workforce challenges to propose tailored staffing solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business reviews.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
Account Growth & Expansion
- Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling staffing services.
- Identify opportunities for contract staffing, direct hire, contract-to-hire, RPO, and MSP programs.
- Develop strategic account plans to increase wallet share and revenue.
- Monitor account performance and client retention metrics.
Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare and present staffing proposals, service agreements, and pricing models.
- Lead contract negotiations, including MSAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements.
- Work closely with legal and leadership teams during contract finalization.
- Ensure compliance with client and organizational policies.
Collaboration with Recruiting & Delivery Teams
- Partner with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements.
- Communicate client expectations, hiring priorities, and service commitments.
- Monitor delivery performance and resolve client concerns or escalations.
- Support workforce planning and resource allocation efforts.
