Hiring | Senior Business Development Manager – Africa (Nigeria Focus)

Location: Delhi-NCR (Hybrid) with regular travel to Nigeria

Reporting To: Founder & CEO

Experience: 8–12 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to lead market entry and expansion across Africa, with a primary focus on Nigeria. The role involves building a strong distribution network while coordinating closely with the Regulatory team to ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute market entry strategy for Nigeria and expansion across Africa.
  • Identify, evaluate, and appoint strong pharmaceutical distributors.
  • Build relationships with distributors, retailers, hospitals, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Drive both private market and government tender business.
  • Coordinate with the Regulatory team to align launches with product registrations.
  • Negotiate and finalize distribution agreements.
  • Conduct market research and identify growth opportunities.
  • Achieve revenue and business development targets.

Requirements:

  • 8–12 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Business Development/Exports.
  • Strong exposure to the African market, especially Nigeria or West Africa.
  • Proven experience in building and managing distributor networks.
  • Existing relationships within the Nigerian pharmaceutical ecosystem.
  • Experience in Finished Formulations preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to Nigeria.

Compensation:

Competitive Fixed Salary + Performance-based Variable (linked to distributor appointments, orders, and revenue milestones).
