DY Infra is a process-driven infrastructure company engaged in telecom infra, civil construction, hotel renovation, interior works, and project management. The company aims to establish a dedicated Business Development function to fuel growth across B2B, corporate, and government verticals.
Role Overview
This is a senior, strategic position responsible for building DY Infra's Business Development department from the ground up. The role involves generating new business, cracking corporate and government opportunities, handling tenders, enhancing visibility through marketing initiatives, and driving automation for a scalable BD function.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Develop and execute a growth-focused BD strategy across telecom, infrastructure, hospitality and interior projects.
- Identify, engage, and convert B2B corporate and government clients.
- Lead the end-to-end sales funnel: prospecting meetings pitching negotiation closing onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, project heads, consultants, EPC companies, and government authorities.
Tendering, Government & Compliance
- Track, evaluate, and submit tenders with relevant departments and portals (GeM, CPWD, State Tenders, PSU etc.).
- Liaison with consultants, authorities, and departments for approvals, empanelments, vendor registrations, and inspections.
- Assess eligibility, documentation, and commercial viability of tenders.
Marketing, Promotion & Digital Growth
- Coordinate and oversee basic website updates, landing page content, and portfolio uploads.
- Collaborate with marketing vendors or manage in-house execution (SEO, Google Ads, SM marketing).
- Oversee digital campaigns aimed at lead generation, brand visibility, and online reputation.
- Prepare capability presentations, sales decks, project case studies, and pitch documents.
Process Setup & Automation
- Build SOPs, lead trackers, reporting formats, CRM workflows and follow-up systems.
- Implement automation tools for proposals, reminders, follow-ups, tender tracking and client onboarding.
- Set up departmental dashboards and monthly BD performance reports for management.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in B2B/infra/telecom/real estate/hospitality BD (preferred).
- Proven track record in closing corporate or government accounts.
- Practical understanding of tendering, documentation, empanelment, and vendor registrations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and pitch-building skills.
- Working knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, social media lead gen, and CRM platforms.
- Tech-comfortable and process-oriented; ability to build BD systems from scratch.
