Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager will drive enterprise revenue growth, strategic market expansion, and CXO-level client engagement for Craft Silicon's lending and financial technology platforms.
The role is responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, acquiring large enterprise clients, building strategic partnerships, and leading high-value deal closures across Banks, Small Finance Banks, NBFCs, MFIs, and emerging digital lending institutions.
The BDM will play a critical leadership role in expanding Craft Silicon's market footprint across India and Southeast Asia, strengthening industry relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth aligned with the company's long-term business strategy.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Revenue Growth
· Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Craft Silicon's growth objectives.
· Drive enterprise sales across Banks, SFBs, NBFCs, and MFIs focusing on digital lending platforms.
· Own revenue targets, pipeline generation, and deal conversion for strategic accounts.
· Lead large deal structuring, negotiations, and contract closures.
Market Expansion
· Identify new market opportunities across India and Southeast Asia.
· Build entry strategies for new financial segments such as fintech lenders, EV finance, MSME lending platforms, and digital NBFCs.
· Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory developments, and industry trends in lending technology.
CXO-Level Client Engagement
· Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs and senior decision makers within financial institutions.
· Act as a trusted advisor to clients on digital lending transformation.
· Lead solution positioning, executive presentations, and strategic proposals.
Strategic Partnerships
· Develop and manage channel partners, system integrators, and consulting partners to expand market reach.
· Create ecosystem alliances that strengthen Craft Silicon's market presence.
Sales Leadership
· Mentor and guide sales managers, account managers, and presales teams.
· Ensure disciplined sales pipeline management, forecasting, and deal governance.
· Collaborate with product, delivery, and marketing teams to align client requirements with solution capabilities.
Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement
· Represent Craft Silicon in industry forums, conferences, and banking associations.
· Contribute to market positioning and brand visibility within the financial services ecosystem.
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong understanding of digital lending ecosystems and financial technology platforms
· Experience selling enterprise software to Banks, NBFCs, MFIs, and FinTechs
· Proven ability to close large multi-year enterprise deals
· Excellent CXO engagement, negotiation, and strategic selling skills
· Deep understanding of financial technology platforms (LOS, CBS, LMS, Collections, Analytics etc)
· Ability to lead complex and large sales cycles
· Strong market intelligence and competitive strategy capability
· Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Educational Qualifications:
· Masters or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (MBA)
Required Experience:
· 10–15+ years of experience in enterprise software product sales within Banking / Financial Services / Fintech
· Proven track record of selling lending platforms, banking software, or enterprise financial solutions
· Demonstrated success in driving multi-million-dollar deals and strategic client engagements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· Deep network within Banks, NBFCs, MFIs, and fintech ecosystem
· Experience selling LOS / LMS / Digital Lending / Core Banking platforms
· Strong presence in industry forums and financial services communities
· Ability to influence CXOs and senior decision makers
