Role Description

We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Business Development Executive to join our Chennai team. In this role, you will own the full B2B sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to demo, negotiation, and close targeting mid-market and enterprise clients across industries such as Manufacturing, Construction, Food & Beverage, Pharma, IT, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, LinkedIn, industry events, and referrals
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for Effivity's SaaS products , from first contact to deal closure
  • Conduct compelling product demos and discovery calls tailored to prospect pain points
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline using CRM tools; track and report on KPIs
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to prepare proposals, RFP responses, and presentations
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with procurement and senior stakeholders
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Develop a strong understanding of ISO compliance requirements and QHSE industry landscape to consultatively sell Effivity's value proposition
  • Build long-term client relationships to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets
  • Strong experience in full-cycle enterprise or mid-market sales
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with industries such as Manufacturing, Pharma, Construction, Food Processing, or IT is a strong advantage
  • Experience selling compliance, ERP, QMS, HRMS, or process automation software is preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM tools.
  • Self-starter with strong pipeline management discipline
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
