Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Associate to engage with prospective learners, understand their career goals and manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to enrollment. The role involves identifying business opportunities, building strong learner relationships and contributing directly to revenue growth in an EdTech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective learners to understand their learning objectives, career aspirations, and skill gaps
- Own the end-to-end sales process, from lead qualification and need analysis to proposal sharing and deal closure
- Effectively pitch Data Science, Machine Learning, and Full Stack Development programs to potential learners
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools
- Coordinate with internal teams to improve sales strategy and learner experience
- Track sales performance, identify bottlenecks and work towards achieving individual and team targets
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving market demands in the EdTech space
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in EdTech
- Prior exposure to selling Data Science, Machine Learning, or Full Stack Development courses is highly preferred
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as LeadSquared, Salesforce, or similar platforms

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive and professional approach
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with prospective learners
- Confidence in pitching technical and career-focused programs to diverse audiences
- Goal-oriented mindset with a proactive and result-driven attitude
- Good negotiation and objection-handling skills
