Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pega Business Architect to bridge business needs with technical solutions using the Pega platform specifically Pega Decisioning/CDH projects. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and supporting the design and delivery of scalable Pega decisioning based solutions.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential Technical Qualification:

  • Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) or Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (CPDC)
  • 58 years of experience in business analysis and solution design with hands-on exposure to Pega BPM/CRM platforms, who can independently drive discussions and deliverables directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Pega CDH (Customer Decision Hub) is mandatory.
  • Ability to translate business functional requirements into Pega CDH technical requirements for the development team. Self-driven, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in capturing, documenting, and tracking user stories effectively.
  • Capable of validating QA observations, reviewing outputs, and approving requirements prior to launch.
  • Strong understanding of Pega CDH, implementation, workflow design, scopes, and business rule modeling.
  • Expertise in requirement gathering techniques including workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process discovery sessions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
  • Experience supporting UAT planning, test case validation, and defect triage from a business perspective
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional designs aligned with Pega best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement sessions to define business processes, workflows, and solution scope.
  • Work closely with solution architects and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes, documentation standards, and governance practices.
  • Proficiency in business process modeling using BPMN/UML and documentation of As-Is and To-Be processes.
  • Ability to create comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements from analysis through delivery and testing.
  • Support sprint planning activities and provide clarifications during development cycles.
  • Participate in system demos, reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Assist in UAT coordination, validation of deliverables, and resolution of functional issues.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend optimized Pega-based solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and documentation practices.

Preferred Qualification: (Optional/Good to have)

  • Experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience in any of the Pega frameworks, Underwriting, Customer Service, CLM/KYC, CRM, CPM, BFSI, Smart Dispute, Smart Investigate.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to end-to-end project lifecycle including implementation and post-production support.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced delivery environments.
