Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong Transportation, Logistics, and Freight Management domain expertise. This is an individual contributor role requiring end-to-end ownership of projects from requirement gathering through successful production deployment and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), stakeholder management, process improvement, and Agile project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Drive projects independently from discovery to deployment.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and solution review sessions.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and status tracking.
• Coordinate with business users, developers, QA teams, and architects.
• Support UAT, defect triage, release planning, and post-production support.
• Define and track transportation KPIs and business metrics.
• Recommend process improvements and technology solutions.

Required Skills

• Business Analysis
• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Strong expertise in Requirement Gathering, Process Mapping, Functional Analysis, and UAT.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and SDLC environments.

Transportation Domain

Hands-on experience in:

• Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Freight Planning & Carrier Management
• Route Optimization & Load Planning
• Shipment Tracking & Visibility
• Freight Audit & Transportation Billing
• Claims Management
• API, EDI & Telematics Integrations

Data & Reporting

• SQL
• Advanced Excel
• Power BI or Tableau
• Jira / Azure DevOps
• Figma, Balsamiq, Miro

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TMS platforms such as Oracle OTM, SAP TM, Blue Yonder, MercuryGate, etc.
• Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3PL organizations.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, CSM, CSPO, CLTD, or CSCP.
