Tonik is looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team. We are seeking professionals with strong banking or fintech domain expertise who can bridge business needs with technology solutions and drive successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discussions with Product Managers and various business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements while ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, BRDs, process flows, transaction workflows, and mobile app wireframes.
- Analyze and interpret integration documents from third-party payment partners to ensure alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Conduct walkthrough sessions with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements.
- Act as Product Owner within Agile/Scrum teams by prioritizing backlog items and ensuring timely delivery aligned with business goals.
- Utilize JIRA for sprint planning, task tracking, progress monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, workflows, release notes, and business process documents.
- Drive product enhancements and support strategic initiatives through strong stakeholder management.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking, Fintech, or Financial Services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of Banking Operations – Front Office and Back Office processes.
- Hands-on knowledge in CASA accounts, Payments, Fund Transfers, Direct Debit, and Account Linking.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong JIRA proficiency.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive product success.
- Expertise in creating user journeys, wireframes, process maps, and flowcharts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Digital Banking / Mobile Banking products.
- Exposure to API integrations and payment ecosystems.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
