Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune for a Senior Business Analyst. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements, optimizing business processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide strategic solutions. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify needs, create processes to improve efficiency, and support the business in achieving its operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- AI-Enabled Analysis:Use GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate requirement gathering, generate SQL queries, and analyze large, complex datasets.
- Process Automation:Identify opportunities to automate internal operations using AI, optimizing workflows and improving efficiency.
- Strategic Data Insights:Design and maintain BI dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to create scalable data pipelines and track KPIs.
- Documentation & Requirements:Create comprehensive BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process maps (using Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart).
- Stakeholder Management:Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards (e.g., KYC, AML).
- Product Development:Assist in the development of AI-driven fintech products, such as automated lending systems or fraud detection tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, BFSI, or high-growth B2C environments.
- AI/Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools for productivity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
- Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire).
- Domain Knowledge:Solid understanding of lending, payment gateways, or trading platforms.
- Tools:Jira, Confluence, Figma, MS Visio, Lucidchart.
- Soft Skills:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; capability to operate in ambiguity.
