Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business performance for our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring seamless execution of strategies to enhance user experience, sales, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, user journeys, and platform performance to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and tech teams to define business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
  • Monitor key metrics such as conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, retention, and revenue
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis
  • Support A/B testing and performance optimization initiatives
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions for process improvement
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation
  • Drive continuous improvement through data insights and analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • 47 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in e-commerce or digital platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI/Tableau
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting
  • Understanding of e-commerce KPIs, funnels, and customer behavior
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Background

  • Experience working with product teams or in a product-based company
  • Knowledge of digital marketing analytics (SEO, SEM, paid ads)
  • Exposure to CRM tools and customer segmentation strategies
  • Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations
