Position Title: Senior Business Analyst Reports To: Chief of Product Business Unit: IT - Jaipur PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As a Business Analyst at CIMET, you will play a critical role in supporting our initiatives by gathering, defining, and designing business requirements that align with the companys goals. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of business solutions and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of CIMETs projects.

ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT

CIMET currently provides end-to-end comparison and signup of Energy, Telco, Credit Cards, Personal loan, and residential solar plans through its online solution in a B2B and B2C environment. It presently caters to various Providers and has several White label partners and other co-branded partners. This portfolio will further expand over the next 18 months across financial services (loans and insurance products). The online comparison market is extremely crowded in Australia, with most comparators providing a light touch directory solution. CIMET saw this as an opportunity and developed a fully integrated online comparison and signup platform.

On 15 March 2022, CIMET decided to partner with iSelect who acquired a 49% stake in CIMET Holdings. Going forward, CIMET will use this investment from iSelect to expand into new verticals including Home loans, Car loans, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Pet Insurance among others. Additionally, CIMET has plans to expand into multiple geographies including India. CIMET today has around 130+ resources across Australia and India and will grow to over 200 over the next 2 years.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Requirements Gathering:

• Engage with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Analyze and translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.

Solution Design Development:

• Collaborate with the product and development teams to design solutions that align with CIMET s objectives.
• Participate in developing and enhancing business processes and frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless project implementation.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights, feedback, and requirements from various departments.

Implementation Support:

• Assist in the deployment and integration of business solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
• Monitor project progress and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, providing recommendations for improvements.

Documentation Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, and implementation plans.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, challenges, and outcomes for management review.

This means there will be constant changes occurring and you will need to be agile in your approach to changing business priorities. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Bachelor s degree in business, IT, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
• Experience in the energy, finance, or comparison platform industry is desirable.
