Senior Project Manager - Business & Data Requirements

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in business analysis to lead the definition and documentation of business and data requirements for UDP initiatives across multiple insurance markets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data governance, stakeholder engagement, and agile delivery methodologies, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Business & Data Requirements Definition: Elicit, analyze, and document business, data, and reporting requirements for UDP initiatives. Translate business use cases into data requirements, source-to-target mappings, and functional/non-functional requirements. Define clear acceptance criteria for incremental delivery and validation.
- UDP & Data Platform Enablement: Collaborate with Platform Engineers and Data Engineers to define data ingestion and transformation requirements. Clarify data availability, freshness, and quality expectations, and support the onboarding of new data sources into UDP. Ensure requirements align with the UDP target architecture and scope.
- Data Governance & Regulatory Alignment: Capture and document data governance requirements, including Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data quality rules, lineage, and metadata needs. Support compliance with data protection, privacy, and regulatory obligations across jurisdictions. Actively participate in data governance forums to ensure business requirements are accurately represented.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation: Engage stakeholders across business units, finance, actuarial, underwriting, and operations, as well as data, analytics, and technology teams. Facilitate workshops to define business problems, prioritize data use cases, and resolve requirement ambiguities. Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders on data-driven decision-making.
- Delivery Support & Validation: Support Agile and hybrid delivery teams by refining and prioritizing backlogs, supporting sprint planning and reviews, and validating delivered outputs against business expectations. Coordinate UAT activities related to data, reports, and analytics outputs. Ensure traceability from business requirement to data asset to platform delivery.
- Business Value & Benefits Realisation: Support the development of business cases and benefit models for UDP initiatives, including analytics and AI-driven use cases. Define KPIs and success measures to track value realization post-delivery. Support executive reporting and decision packs related to UDP progress and outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in project management or business analysis (e.g., PMP, CBAP) are a plus.
