Job Summary
Experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive enterprise initiatives in banking technology, translating strategic objectives into well-defined requirements and delivering solutions end-to-end. Senior individual-contributor role requiring deep banking domain expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation and translate business objectives into business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Prepare BRDs, FRSs, user stories, use cases, process flows and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
- Conduct As-Is / To-Be analysis, gap analysis and impact assessments to identify optimisation and automation opportunities
- Define data requirements, data mapping and reporting requirements with regulatory compliance in view
- Collaborate with architects, developers and QA across the full SDLC support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement and scope management
- Define acceptance criteria support SIT/UAT, coordinate defect resolution and obtain business sign-off
- Support deployment, post-implementation reviews, SOPs and user training
- Mentor junior BAs and ensure compliance with governance, audit and risk standards
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 10 years Business Analyst experience in Banking/Financial Services (non-BFSI experience not considered equivalent)
- Proven delivery of large-scale banking transformation or technology implementation projects
- Strong domain knowledge in at least one of: Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, Core Banking, Treasury, Payments & Cards, Lending, AML/KYC, Basel III/IV, IFRS 9
- End-to-end requirements management with SIT/UAT and deployment experience
- SQL proficiency advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, dashboards) Visio and UML
- Strong JIRA and Confluence experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Advantageous
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA or Scrum certification data modelling and lineage exposure
