Why This Title
We're deliberately not calling this a plain Senior Brand Manager role. That title attracts generalists who manage campaigns, we need someone known in the industry who brings deals with them. The title Senior Brand Partnerships & Strategic Collaborations signals seniority, deal-making ownership, and an external-facing mandate, which is what filters for candidates with an existing network (brand bank) rather than people who've only executed internal marketing calendars.
About the Role
We're looking for a senior brand professional with a strong personal network across all industry e.g., fashion / F&B / entertainment / lifestyle / D2C, who can walk in with an active brand bank - a list of warm relationships with brands, sponsors, agencies, and platforms and immediately start generating high-value collaborations and sponsorship deals.
This is not an entry point into brand partnerships. We need someone who has already done this closed collaboration deals, negotiated sponsorships, and is recognized as a credible operator in the industry.
What You'll Own
- Brand Collaborations: Identify, pitch, negotiate, and close co-branded collaborations (product, content, or experiential) that align with our brand positioning and growth goals.
- Sponsorships: Build and manage a sponsorship pipeline both inbound (brands wanting to sponsor us) and outbound (us sponsoring relevant properties, events, or creators).
- Your Network, Activated: Bring your existing relationships with brand leaders, marketing heads, agencies, and platforms to the table from day one.
- Deal Structuring: Lead commercial negotiations, contracts (with legal support), and ROI frameworks for every partnership.
- Stakeholder Management: Be the face of these deals internally and externally credible enough to sit across the table from CMOs, founders, and senior marketers at partner brands.
- Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain a live partnerships pipeline, set targets, and report on deal value, brand lift, and reach generated.
What You Bring
- 8 -12+ years in brand marketing, with at least 4-5 years specifically in brand partnerships, collaborations, or sponsorships (not just brand management).
- A demonstrable, active network in the any industry space, this is non-negotiable. You should be able to name brands/people you've worked with.
- A track record of closed collaboration or sponsorship deals you can speak to (confidentiality respected, but we need proof of pattern, not just intent).
- Strong commercial instincts, comfortable with deal value, negotiation, and ROI conversations, not just creative briefs.
- Existing credibility/visibility in the industry (known at industry events, on relevant panels, or within key brand/agency circles).
- Excellent stakeholder management - equally comfortable with founders, legal, finance, and external CMOs.
Nice to Have
- Experience straddling both inbound sponsorship revenue and outbound brand collaboration spends.
- Prior experience at a brand known for strong collaborations (so you understand what good looks like from the other side of the table).
