Job Description
Reporting to: Founder & CEO
Location: Udaipur preferred, can discuss hybrid
What you'll own:
- Brand strategy & positioning execution. Guard and extend SkinInspired's science-first, dermatologist-led positioning across every touchpoint — packaging, PDP copy, social, ads, PR, partnerships. The tagline is Beauty Is Discipline and the voice is clinical, direct, and anti-hype. You'll have strong founder alignment on the what; your job is the how at scale.
- Full-funnel content engine. Own the content calendar and creative pipeline across Instagram, YouTube, D2C site, and marketplace listings. Brief creators, write or approve copy, ensure every claim has a mechanism behind it (not just a superlative).
- Channel brand consistency. SkinInspired sells on Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, and Blinkit. Each channel has different rules — you'll ensure the brand shows up with equal authority everywhere, adapting format without diluting voice.
- New product launches. Lead GTM for new SKUs — positioning, naming input, launch sequencing, hero-claim development, creator seeding, marketplace listing optimization.
- Retention & LTV marketing. Work closely with performance marketing to ensure the post-purchase journey (email, WhatsApp, replenishment nudges) reinforces the brand promise. You understand that the second purchase is where the business model works.
- PR & founder brand. Shape the external narrative — media pitches, award submissions, founder thought-leadership (LinkedIn, panels, podcasts). Ground every story in real formulation choices and clinical evidence, not lifestyle aspiration.
- Creator & dermatologist partnerships. Build and manage a roster of creators and dermatologists who align with the brand's science-first ethos. No pay-and-spray influencer campaigns — depth over reach.
- Brand measurement. Define and track brand health metrics that connect to commercial outcomes — aided recall, search volume trends, organic:paid traffic ratio, repeat rate by acquisition source. Propose and run brand-lift studies when spend warrants it.
You'll succeed here if:
- You think in mechanisms, not adjectives (encapsulated retinol reduces irritation excites you more than gentle formula)
- You've built content that educated consumers and converted — not one or the other
- You can hold two truths: brand is a long game and every rupee needs to justify itself this quarter
- You default to show the data over trust my instinct when the two conflict
