About The Role
We are hiring a Senior Bluetooth Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Python automation, and embedded wireless product testing.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
Bluetooth protocol validation, automation framework development, debugging wireless connectivity issues, and working with Bluetooth testing tools such as Ellisys or Teledyne LeCroy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test plans for Bluetooth/BLE features and embedded wireless products
- Design and maintain Python/pytest-based automation frameworks
- Perform Bluetooth protocol testing, validation, and debugging
- Capture and analyze Bluetooth traffic using protocol analyzers such as Ellisys or Teledyne LeCroy
- Automate test execution and reporting within CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct root cause analysis using logs, traces, and diagnostic data
- Collaborate closely with development and application engineering teams
- Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and defect analysis
- Utilize AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to improve development efficiency
- Participate in cross-functional and global team collaboration
Must Have Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Bluetooth/BLE testing or development
- Strong Python programming skills for automation and scripting
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technologies and protocols
- Good understanding of Bluetooth standards (5.x / 6.x) and Bluetooth SIG specifications
- Experience with Bluetooth protocol analyzers/tools such as:
- Ellisys
- Teledyne LeCroy
- Similar Bluetooth testing tools
- Experience with pytest or automation testing frameworks
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
- Experience working with embedded or wireless products
- Good communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Embedded systems testing experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
- Exposure to wireless communication protocols and IoT ecosystems
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or AI-assisted development tools
