Responsibilities
Understand scope of work and delivery schedule from Senior Leads
- Input to the co-ordination of engineering services on projects.
- Develop drawings from inputs received from Sweden. Make drawings and details into co-ordinated building details by set manuals.
- Prepare sketches / RFIs etc. as necessary for seeking clarification from engineers in Sweden.
- Prepare / amend models and / or drawings to specified WSP in Sweden Tekla standards.
- Suggest revisions to standards / templates / custom settings as appropriate.
- Use templates for Tekla work and use Standard library items to assist detailing/design work.
- Provide advice and coaching to technicians on intermediate Tekla functions when requested.
- Follow QA, document control, archiving guidelines on all work.
- Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project.
- Managing small and medium BIM Models for structures using Tekla Structures.

- Agreeing drawing strategy, type and size of drawings and drawing numbering with project engineer and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient methods of working.
- 12+ years of experience of working on projects of various sizes, independently and as part of a project team
- Experience of working on several projects across different sectors
- Knowledge of both Structural and Architecture outlook disciplines.
- Knowledge of working in Tekla environment inclusive of Steel/Concrete/Point cloud/Pre-cast/ Cast in situ working models.
- Develop and model building elements using Structural drawings/PDF's or hand drafts in Tekla software.
- Should have a good experience in 3D Reinforcement Tekla structures modelling and specifications/Bar bending schedules.
- Good working knowledge of Tekla Structures with latest versions, able to use all standard functions on the software without requiring support from seniors and coach junior staff in its use.
- Setting up of Custom components activities wherever needed and possible to do so.
- Setting up BIM models to the project standards and liaising with Model Managers from client side.
- Work with a small team of resources to execute a project.
- Assisting CAD/BIM Manager in Estimation and Costing of CAD/BIM projects based on client's inputs.
- Swiftly able to switch on to working on various tools for Preparing detail/design drawings for structures depending on priority of works.
- Good understanding of working for international offices and standards
- Good knowledge of industry standards and international codes.
