Role Summary
To work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate's role will be as an MEP Revit Technician within the WSP India in our Noida/Bangalore office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to CAD/BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare MEP 3D Revit coordinated models
- Clash detection and clash resolution
- Create Parametric Revit Families
- Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models
- Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualisations
- Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualisations
- Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model.
Key Competencies / Skills:
Mandatory skills
Experience in the use of the following software is essential:
- REVIT MEP
- AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Navisworks
Experience in the use of the following software is desirable but not essential:
- AutoDesk 3ds MAX
- MS Excel
- MS Word
The candidate must:
- Have good English communication skills
- Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months as projects dictate (base will be NOIDA).
- Ability to plan and manage his/her workload
- Lateral thinking

- Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering is preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications.
