Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Architect with extensive experience in complex Revit modelling and strategic BIM leadership. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience focusing on leading high-quality BIM modeling, establishing standards, and managing team and project coordination for comprehensive construction documentation. This role blends advanced technical BIM expertise with architectural design, project ownership, and team management.
1 RESPONSIBILITIES
1.1 BIM & Documentation: Act as the lead Revit modeler for projects, ensuring high-
fidelity models from concept through full construction sets and working drawings.
1.2 Design Development: Prepare concepts, develop and detail designs based on briefs and
internal/external discussions.
1.3 Family Creation: Develop and maintain parametric Revit families and project-specific
components.
1.4 Team Leadership & Training: Oversee and mentor a group of architects/draftsmen, specifically
helping train and improve their Revit and BIM abilities, and ensuring the team's deliverables
meet schedule with exceptional work quality.
1.5 Quality Control: Lead the checking of design/working drawings and specifications; establish
and enforce Revit models to adhere to office standards and clash-free coordination.
1.6 Coordination: Coordinate architectural and structural drawings using Navisworks to identify
and resolve overlaps.
1.7 Project Lifecycle Management: Lead projects through all phases from inception to
completion, including client coordination and site supervision to ensure compliance with
specifications.
1.8 Visualization: Produce high-quality renderings integrated with Revit workflows using
Enscape, Twinmotion, or Lumion.
1.9 Standards: Establish, maintain, and enforce thorough knowledge of KPA systems, standards,
and BIM procedures, including authoring the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
1.10 Project Ownership & Strategic Planning: Assume full responsibility for managing a single or
multiple complex projects, defining project-specific goals, LOD requirements, and managing
the Common Data Environment (CDE).
1.11 Model Auditing & Compliance: Conduct deep-dive model health audits, perform automated
interference checking, verify Level of Development (LOD) compliance, and oversee the
extraction of non-geometric data for facility management (COBie).
1.12 External Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary BIM point of contact, leading BIM
coordination sessions with clients, external consultants (structural, MEP), and vendors to
proactively resolve complex digital conflicts.
2 SKILLS REQUIRED
2.1 Technical Proficiency: 5+ years of dedicated experience in Revit (Architecture/Structure),
demonstrating expertise in complete modeling, complex family creation, and editing.
2.2 Documentation Expert: Expert understanding of sheet work, annotation, and assembling a
full set of construction documents.
2.3 Construction Knowledge: In-depth understanding of building systems, facade systems, and
construction methods.
2.4 Multi-Disciplinary Insight: Ability to accurately interpret and coordinate architectural,
structural, and MEP drawings.
2.5 Problem Solving: Strategic and methodical approach to problem-solving, maintaining accuracy
and consistency across complete models.
2.6 Communication: Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills;
demonstrated ability to lead coordination meetings and collaborate effectively.
2.7 Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated, with demonstrated ability to take full responsibility for
complex modeling and project-level deadlines, managing and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
3 SOFTWARE SKILLS:
3.1 Expert Level: Revit (Architecture & Structure), Navisworks, AutoCAD.
3.2 Computational Design: Experience utilizing visual programming tools like Dynamo or
Grasshopper for workflow automation is highly preferred.
3.3 Modeling/Design: SketchUp.
3.4 Visualization: Enscape, Twinmotion, or Lumion.
3.5 Good to have : Experience using DiRoots, Py-Revit, AI tools for visualization and presentation
skills.
3.6 General : Microsoft office.
