Senior Billing Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced senior billing analyst with strong expertise in US-based end-to-end billing and order-to-cash (OTC) operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in time & material (T&M), milestone-based, and lump sum billing, with the ability to manage billing activities accurately and efficiently.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong process knowledge, and a proven professional track record.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete US end-to-end billing process, from reviewing billing inputs to invoice preparation, validation, submission, and tracking.
• Handle Time & Material (T&M) billing based on approved timesheets, resource utilization, contractual rates, and client agreements.
• Manage milestone-based billing by validating project deliverables, milestone completion, and required approvals before invoice generation.
• Execute lump sum billing in accordance with contract terms, project scope, and agreed billing schedules.
• Review billing data, purchase orders, contracts, project codes, and supporting documentation to ensure invoice accuracy.
• Coordinate with project managers, finance teams, accounts receivable, and other stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Support Order-to-Cash (OTC) activities, including billing, invoice tracking, payment follow-ups, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor unbilled revenue, pending invoices, billing exceptions, and outstanding issues to ensure timely billing.
• Maintain accurate billing records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies and client requirements.
• Identify billing discrepancies and support process improvements to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of overall relevant experience in billing operations.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in US end-to-end billing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Time & Material (T&M) Billing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Milestone-Based Billing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in lump sum billing.
• Working knowledge of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet billing deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Must have relevant US-based billing experience; general domestic billing experience alone will not be considered.
• All four mandatory billing types must be clearly demonstrated in the resume.
• Healthcare billing profiles will not be considered.
• Must be comfortable working from the Bangalore office during the US night shift.
• Immediate joiners are preferred; only candidates with a confirmed LWD within 30 days will be considered.
• Current CTC must meet the hiring budget criteria.
