Role Description

The Senior Beauty Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for delivering a high-end customer experience that reflects Kimirica's luxury and self-care ethos. The role involves greeting and advising customers, assessing individual needs, and recommending suitable skincare, bath and body, and fragrance products. The consultant will demonstrate product usage, maintain in-depth knowledge of formulations and ingredients, and communicate the brand's vegan, cruelty-free values. Daily tasks include achieving retail sales targets, managing product displays and merchandising standards, handling customer queries and feedback, and supporting in-store events and promotions. The Senior Beauty Consultant will also mentor junior team members, ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• Professional expertise in cosmetology and skin care, with the ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate routines.
• Strong product knowledge across skincare, bath & body, fragrance, and wellness categories, including ingredients, benefits, and usage.
• Proven customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering a luxury in-store experience.
• Experience in retail sales, including meeting targets, upselling, cross-selling, and handling point-of-sale transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers in a gender-neutral, non-discriminatory manner.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, including weekends and retail peak hours, with a high level of professionalism and reliability.
• Prior experience as a beauty consultant or in a premium/luxury retail environment is highly desirable.
• Certification or formal training in cosmetology, aesthetics, or skin care is an advantage.
