Job Description

ABOUT COG CULTURE

Cog Culture is not your typical advertising agency. Shocking, we know — most agencies say exactly that,  right before pitching a strategic partnership that amounts to a retainer, a deck, and a handshake emoji.

But stay with us.

We're an award-winning, full-service marketing communications agency with a decade and a half of  experience building brand narratives that actually move people — not just move the goalposts, the  timeline, and eventually the blame. What sets us apart isn't the trophy shelf. It's what's running  underneath it.

We're AI-native — and we mean that the way a fish means water, not the way a corporation means  digital transformation. Artificial intelligence isn't a tool we picked up; it's the lens through which we think,  build, and create. GenAI content workflows, intelligent campaign analytics, automation that earns its keep  — at Cog Culture, AI isn't the support act. It's the headliner, the venue, and the one who read the brief.

Now we're packaging everything we've built — the intelligence, the tools, the workflows — into a B2B  SaaS product purpose-built for marketing and advertising. And we need someone who can take that  product to market: open doors, build conviction, close deals, and make the category ours.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven and commercially sharp Senior Business Development Executive to own  business for our AI SaaS product. This isn't agency BD - this is product sales. You'll be selling a platform  built to transform how brands and agencies operate, to the people who run marketing at the companies  that need it most.

You'll work directly with founders and product leadership to shape go-to-market, build pipeline, and close  the kinds of deals that define a category. If you know how to sell complex SaaS to sophisticated buyers,  and you're excited by the idea of doing it in a space where AI actually means something, this role is for  you.

Ideal candidates bring 3–8 years of SaaS or technology sales experience, a proven quota record, and the  curiosity to sell something genuinely new.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pipeline Development & Revenue Growth

Own the full sales cycle for the AI SaaS product - from prospecting and discovery through demo,  negotiation, and close.

Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of SaaS, brand, and agency prospects using outbound  outreach, partnerships, events, and referrals.

Meet and exceed ARR targets and quarterly KPIs set by the leadership team. Research the competitive landscape, buyer personas, and market signals to sharpen positioning  and identify new verticals.

Enterprise & Mid-Market SaaS Sales

Lead consultative, insight-led sales conversations with CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Heads of  Growth, and marketing operations leaders.

Deliver compelling product demos and tailored presentations that connect platform capabilities to  specific customer pain points.

Navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, including procurement, legal, and technical  evaluation stages.

Translate complex AI and workflow concepts into clear, outcome-driven value propositions that  resonate with non-technical buyers.

Product-Led Deal Strategy

Leverage deep knowledge of SaaS business models, PLG motions, and marketing technology  ecosystems to position the product effectively.

Partner with Product on customer feedback loops, roadmap influence, and pilot programme  design.

Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts alongside the Account  Management team.

Develop commercial proposals, SOW documents, and SaaS subscription agreements aligned  with pricing strategy.

Go-to-Market Collaboration

Work closely with Founders, Marketing, and Product to refine ICP definitions, messaging  frameworks, and channel strategy.

Feed real-world buyer insights back into product positioning, content strategy, and GTM planning. Represent the product at industry conferences, marketing technology events, and SaaS summits. Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene (Salesforce / HubSpot) and provide accurate pipeline forecasting.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Essential

3–8 years of quota-carrying SaaS sales or technology sales experience, ideally in martech,  adtech, or an AI-native product company.

Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding ARR or revenue targets in a direct, closing  role.

Strong command of SaaS sales methodologies (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, or similar) and  enterprise sales cycles.

Ability to sell to senior marketing and growth stakeholders — you understand how they think,  what they measure, and what keeps them up at night.

Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills — written and verbal. Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and standard business software.

Preferred

Prior experience selling marketing technology, AI tooling, workflow automation, or analytics  platforms.

Familiarity with the marketing and advertising agency ecosystem — sold to agencies or worked  within one.

Exposure to PLG (product-led growth) sales motions and freemium-to-enterprise conversion  strategies.

An existing network of CMOs, marketing ops leaders, or agency buyers is a material advantage. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
