Roles and Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Administration:
- Perform comprehensive SAP Basis administration tasks including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAP systems.
- Ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of SAP Business One environments.
AWS Cloud Management:
- Manage and optimize SAP systems hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Leverage AWS tools and services to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Linux System Administration:
- Perform system administration tasks on Linux servers hosting SAP applications.
- Implement best practices for system security, performance tuning, and maintenance.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support for SAP Business One users, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
System Upgrades and Patch Management:
- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during system updates.
Backup and Recovery:
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical business data.
- Conduct regular tests to ensure the effectiveness of backup strategies.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, health, and usage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, specifically with SAP Business One.
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in managing SAP systems on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Immediate availability is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database) with SAP NetWeaver.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
