Senior Basis Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities:

SAP Basis Administration:

• Perform comprehensive SAP Basis administration tasks including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAP systems.
• Ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of SAP Business One environments.

AWS Cloud Management:

• Manage and optimize SAP systems hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage AWS tools and services to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Linux System Administration:

• Perform system administration tasks on Linux servers hosting SAP applications.
• Implement best practices for system security, performance tuning, and maintenance.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support for SAP Business One users, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

System Upgrades and Patch Management:

• Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure minimal downtime and disruption during system updates.

Backup and Recovery:

• Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical business data.
• Conduct regular tests to ensure the effectiveness of backup strategies.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Generate regular reports on system performance, health, and usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, specifically with SAP Business One.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration.
• Proficiency in managing SAP systems on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Immediate availability is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database) with SAP NetWeaver.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
