Position: Senior Backend/Solution Architect

Role Summary
Design scalable, secure backend systems and AI-powered features for the products. Lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architecture for various modules in products and AI feature integration
- Define API contracts, data models, and system integration patterns
- Lead technical design reviews and architecture decision-making
- Ensure system scalability, performance, reliability, and security
- Implement best practices for microservices, API design, and data management
- Mentor senior and junior engineers on architecture and design patterns
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams on system requirements
- Establish and maintain technical standards and code quality metrics
- Conduct performance optimization and bottleneck analysis
- Lead incident response and post mortem processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of backend engineering experience with 4+ years in architecture roles
- Deep expertise in designing distributed systems and microservices
- Strong proficiency in modern backend languages (Java, Python, Go, Rust, etc.)
- Experience designing scalable APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
- Knowledge of databases (relational and NoSQL), caching strategies, and data modeling
- Understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with message queues, event streaming, and asynchronous patterns
- Strong systems design and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

- Experience with AI/ML system integration and model serving
- Knowledge of security best practices and threat modeling
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices
- HR Tech or Vendor Management System domain expertise
- Contributions to open-source projects
