Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer (Backend)

Location

• Offshore – Remote from India
• Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST

Compensation

• Up to 35 LPA

• Languages: Java / Kotlin (JVM ecosystem)
• Framework: Spring Boot 3+
• Cloud: GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Spanner

• Security: OAuth 2.0

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Develop modern APIs (REST + GraphQL) to replace legacy components
• Work with PostgreSQL / Spanner for high-performance data access
• Deploy and manage services on GCP
• Implement secure authentication & authorization (OAuth 2.0)
• Use New Relic for observability and performance monitoring
• Collaborate across teams while maintaining strong IC ownership

• Strong experience in platform engineering / core backend systems
• Background in:
• Core services development
• Shared libraries / frameworks
• Infrastructure-facing backend systems
• Experience building:
• Robust, scalable, developer-friendly services
• Comfortable working on:
• Complex system design & architecture
