Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Python expertise to design and build scalable backend systems powering high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing robust APIs, working with real-time systems, and delivering reliable, production-grade backend services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.

Implement real-time communication systems (WebSockets) where required.

Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.

Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Drive performance tuning, monitoring, and debugging in production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of backend development experience.

Strong proficiency in Python.

Experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.

Solid understanding of WebSockets and real-time backend integrations.

Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching systems.

Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.

Proven ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready backend applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with internal platform standards, large-scale systems, and high-availability architectures.
