Job Description

Job Title: Backend Engineer – Node.js | Microservices | AWS

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience Required: 4 to 5 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join the growing engineering team of one of our Fintech Client. You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js and AWS. Experience in designing and managing microservices architecture is essential for this role.

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who doesn't just write code — they own outcomes. If you love building high-throughput systems, thrive with autonomy, and want to work at the cutting edge of Web3 infrastructure, this one's for you.

What you'll be doing:

You'll own entire product surfaces end-to-end — from scoping and architecture through deployment and iteration. Think event-driven backends, scalable APIs, on-chain infrastructure across EVM and non-EVM chains, and real product impact.

What we need from you:

  • 5+ years shipping production-grade backend systems
  • Deep expertise in Node.js (event loop, error handling, non-trivial services)
  • Strong grasp of async architectures — message queues, pub/sub, worker pipelines, retry & idempotency patterns
  • Solid system design skills — distributed systems, consistency vs. availability trade-offs, observability
  • Clean API design (REST/RPC) that teams actually enjoy integrating with
  • Web3 exposure — smart contracts, RPCs, on-chain data, bridges, or DeFi protocols
  • Rust proficiency (performance-critical services, Solana/Anchor, or tooling)
  • Strong DSA fundamentals — not for leetcode, but for real production decisions

Bonus if you bring:

  • Experience with cross-chain protocols, liquidity systems, or fintech infra
  • A product mindset — you've shaped roadmaps and driven features from a user-need lens
  • Communication skills that bridge engineering and business

What's in it for you:

Fully remote — work from wherever you do your best thinking

High autonomy, low bureaucracy

Competitive compensation

Direct impact on product direction and architecture

A team that values clarity, speed, and craft
