Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to lead initiatives in integrating AI/ML capabilities and data services using the Microsoft Azure platform. This role requires strong backend development expertise, combined with deep experience in cloud-based data pipelines and AI/ML services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data integration pipelines using:
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Build, train, and deploy AI/ML models leveraging:
• Azure Machine Learning
• Azure Cognitive Services
• Seamlessly integrate Azure AI services into enterprise backend systems
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement AI/ML and data strategies
• Optimize performance and scalability of data pipelines and ML workflows
• Ensure security, reliability, and operational excellence across solutions
• Troubleshoot issues related to data processing and model performance

Required Skills & Experience

✅ Backend Development

• 7–10 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining scalable microservices

✅ API Integration

• Deep understanding of REST APIs, API design principles, and system integration patterns

✅ Azure Data & AI Services

• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Azure Machine Learning
• Azure Cognitive Services

✅ Data Integration

• Proficient in designing and managing ETL/ELT processes

✅ AI/ML

• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, including:
• Model training and evaluation
• Deployment and versioning
• Model performance monitoring

✅ Cloud Infrastructure

• Familiarity with Azure services such as:
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure Storage
• Azure Networking

✅ Database Systems

• Experience with:
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• MongoDB

Mandatory Skills

• Java (Backend Development)
