Job Description
We are looking for a senior-level offshore back-end developer to join the team supporting Securitas. This resource will work primarily on back-end development, not full-stack development.
The team follows Agile/Scrum processes and will have a dedicated Scrum Master. The developer will support existing infrastructure, including upgrades, feature requests, enhancements, and maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities
The Senior Developer will be responsible for :
- Developing and maintaining back-end applications using C# and .NET 8
- Building and supporting REST APIs
- Working with SQL Server databases
- Supporting application upgrades, enhancements, and production maintenance
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and sprint-based development
- Using DevOps practices/tools as part of the development lifecycle
- Testing their own code in the development environment before handing it off to QA
- Collaborating with QA teams for formal testing and defect resolution
Required Skills
- Senior-level experience in C#
- Strong experience with .NET 8
- Strong back-end development experience
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Strong SQL Server experience
- Experience with Visual Studio
- DevOps experience
- Extensive Agile experience
Nice To Have
- Vue.js experience
- Visual Studio Code experience
Important Candidate Expectation
Candidates should understand this is primarily a back-end development role. The work is focused on maintaining and enhancing current infrastructure, performing upgrades, handling feature requests, and supporting ongoing application maintenance. This is not primarily a front-end or full-stack role, although Vue.js exposure is helpful.
