We're looking for a skilled and motivated
Senior Backend Developer with strong AWS expertise to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll design and implement scalable cloud architecture that powers the services protecting tens of millions of users worldwide. You'll work on robust backend systems, translating business requirements into effective, production-grade AWS solutions and you'll play a key role in shaping how we build and scale our cloud infrastructure.

This position is based in
Bengaluru, India, and offers hybrid working flexibility. You'll collaborate closely with teams in Finland, Malaysia, Slovakia, and the US, contributing to products that serve tens of millions of users across 50+ countries.
Key Responsibilities In This Role
- Own and lead end-to-end architecture design, delivering scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with business and technical goals
- Develop, deploy, and monitor backend services and cloud-native applications on AWS
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines along with automated monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system architecture, security, and performance
- Provide technical leadership and support, including guidance on production issues and complex engineering challenges
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve system efficiency and developer productivity
What are we looking for
- 5+ years of experience working on backend development and AWS cloud architecture
- Strong backend development skills in Java, Python, or similar languages, with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, EKS/ECS) and proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational and NoSQL database design, as well as message queue systems such as Kafka
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and strong testing discipline (JUnit, PyTest, TestNG, or similar)
- Proven ability to lead design discussions, code reviews, and system architecture decisions within Agile/Scrum teams
- Full professional proficiency in English
You'll Stand Out If You Have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (or higher)
- Experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, AWS CDK)
- Background in startups or experience building platforms from the ground up
- Familiarity with cost optimization, security compliance, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Participation in tech communities or open-source contributions
