Job title : Senior Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails Specialist)

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and a polyglot engineering background to build and scale high-performance backend systems. The role involves designing scalable microservices, optimizing data-intensive applications, and working across multiple programming languages and cloud environments to enhance system architecture and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails
2. Build and integrate microservices across Java, Python, and JavaScript ecosystems
3. Design and optimize RESTful APIs and distributed system architectures
4. Manage and optimize databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
5. Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous optimization

Required Skills :

1. Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails (5+ years)
2. Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript (polyglot development)
3. Experience in REST API design and microservices architecture
4. Strong database skills in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
5. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualification :

1. Experience in building distributed and high-availability systems
2. Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
3. Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (RSpec, Minitest)
4. Experience in system design and performance tuning for large-scale applications
5. Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
