Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Azure Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Azure networking services, hybrid connectivity, and network security, and will work closely with cloud, security, and application teams to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Azure network architectures using VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, UDRs, and Azure Route Tables

Manage hybrid connectivity including Site-to-Site VPN, Point-to-Site VPN, and ExpressRoute

Configure and maintain Azure Load Balancer (L4/L7), Application Gateway, and Azure Front Door

Implement network security using Azure Firewall, NSGs, DDoS Protection, and Private Endpoints

Support hub-and-spoke and landing zone network architectures

Monitor and troubleshoot network issues using Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, Log Analytics

Work with identity and security teams to integrate networking with Azure AD and security policies

Automate network deployments using ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform, or PowerShell

Provide L3/L4 support for production incidents and perform root cause analysis

Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams on cloud migration projects

Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of overall networking experience, with 7 + years in Azure networking

Strong hands-on experience with:

Azure VNETs, Peering, Private Link

Azure Firewall, NSGs, UDRs

VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute

Load Balancer, Application Gateway

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, routing, and firewall concepts

Experience with hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure)

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform / ARM / Bicep)

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Good to Have

Azure certifications such as:

AZ-700: Azure Network Engineer Associate

AZ-104 / AZ-305

Experience with Zero Trust networking

Exposure to DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)

Knowledge of multi-region DR and high-availability designs
