Job Description:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer responsible for managing AWS infrastructure entirely through CI/CD pipelines built in Azure DevOps.
Key Requirement:
All AWS platform operations — including provisioning, configuration, deployment, and management — must be executed only via Azure DevOps pipelines, with no manual changes in the AWS console.
Key Responsibilities
Azure DevOps-Driven AWS Management (Core Responsibility)
- Design and implement end-to-end Azure DevOps pipelines to manage AWS infrastructure and applications
- Ensure all AWS resources are provisioned and maintained exclusively via pipelines
- Eliminate manual interventions in AWS; enforce pipeline-first / automation-first approach
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) integrated into Azure DevOps pipelines
- Maintain auditability and traceability of all AWS changes via pipeline executions
CI/CD & Pipeline Engineering
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Automate:
- Infrastructure provisioning
- Application deployments
- Configuration management
- Implement approval gates, rollback strategies, and environment promotions
AWS Platform Management (via Pipelines Only)
- Manage AWS services strictly through pipeline automation:
- Amazon EKS (cluster lifecycle & deployments)
- Amazon EBS (volume provisioning & management)
- AWS Identity and Access Management (roles, policies via IaC)
- Ingress, networking, and load balancing
- Implement Kubernetes deployments via pipeline-triggered workflows
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security through automated processes
Self-Hosted Agent Pools
- Create and manage self-hosted agent pools in Azure DevOps
- Ensure agents have secure and controlled access to AWS environments
- Optimize agent performance for faster pipeline execution
Application Configuration
- Manage application configurations through pipeline-driven mechanisms
- Implement secure secrets management (Key Vault / AWS Secrets Manager)
- Maintain environment parity across dev, staging, and production
DevOps & Automation
- Enforce full automation of DevOps lifecycle (CI/CD)
- Implement Git-based workflows (GitOps principles preferred)
- Standardize reusable pipeline templates
Code Quality & Governance
- Integrate SonarQube with pipelines
- Enforce quality gates before deployments
- Ensure security scans and compliance checks are part of CI/CD
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Technical Requirement
- Proven experience in:
- Azure DevOps pipelines (advanced level)
- Managing AWS infrastructure via CI/CD pipelines (not manual console usage)
AWS & Cloud Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- EKS, EC2, EBS, IAM, VPC
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Kubernetes and container orchestration
Certifications (Mandatory)
- Must have: AWS Certified Developer – Associate (or equivalent Associate-level)
- Required for production access: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
