Job Description

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS and Snowflake. Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and automation for enterprise-scale data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ETL/ELT Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
  • Data Integration: Ingest, transform, and load structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources into Snowflake.
  • SQL Development: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for analytics and reporting.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Build and manage data workflows using Glue Workflows, Triggers, and AWS Step Functions.
  • Performance Tuning: Implement data partitioning and performance optimization techniques in Snowflake and AWS environments.
  • AWS Services Management: Work with S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and other AWS services to ensure secure and reliable pipelines.
  • Data Quality & Validation: Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across source and target systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Automation & Deployment: Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure SLA adherence and operational efficiency.
