Role Description The Senior AWS GenAI & Cloud Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud and GenAI solutions on AWS. This role involves architecting scalable cloud infrastructures, guiding GenAI solution development, and overseeing end-to-end deployment pipelines in alignment with client and project requirements. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership and mentorship, and ensure best practices in security, performance, and cost optimization are followed. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing solution designs, conducting technical assessments, coordinating with stakeholders, and troubleshooting complex cloud and GenAI-related issues to ensure stable, efficient operations.

Job Description: Senior AWS GenAI & Cloud Lead

Role Overview

The Senior AWS GenAI & Cloud Lead will serve as a technical lead for the development of the Smart Document Manager (SDM)—a journey-agnostic document-intelligence platform built for Retail Lending on AWS. This role is responsible for driving the core build of GenAI-powered triangulation engines, serverless orchestration workflows, API integrations, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• GenAI & Triangulation Engineering: Lead the build of the Triangulation Engine using Amazon Bedrock, Knowledge Bases, and OpenSearch to execute field-matching logic, comparison rules, and tie-breaker prompts.

• Serverless Orchestration: Implement event-driven, multi-step orchestration workflows using AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, and Amazon SQS for async and parallel bulk document processing pipelines.

• API Development & Governance: Architect and deliver versioned, metered REST APIs secured via OAuth2/mTLS, supporting multi-tenant isolation and token-metering chargeback.

• Testing & Quality Leadership: Lead UAT defect triage, fix resolutions, and test automation for AI pipelines while ensuring traceability back to core design specifications.

• Technical Documentation & Handover: Author technical designs, 11-API specifications, operation runbooks, and conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) for enterprise administration teams.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• AWS Serverless & Orchestration: Advanced expertise in AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and SQS.

• GenAI & AWS AI Services: Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, Knowledge Bases, OpenSearch, Amazon Textract, and Rekognition.

• Databases & Data Security: Proficiency with Amazon DynamoDB, Aurora, S3, AWS KMS, and Amazon Cognito federated SSO / IAM RBAC.

• Compliance & Governance: Deep understanding of data residency and security standards, including India RBI and DPDP regulations.

• Experience: 6+ years in cloud software development with proven experience leading GenAI or advanced document-processing solution builds on AWS.
