Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of our cloud security product.
2. Focus on building Dockerized application components by integrating with AWS EKS.
3. Modify existing applications in AWS to enhance performance.
4. Demonstrate passion for solving challenging issues.
5. Promote team cooperation and commitment to achieve common goals.
6. Analyze data to identify issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems.

Must-Have Skills:

1. AWS Services Expertise: EKS, AppStream, Cognito, CloudWatch, Fargate Cluster, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, SQS, SES, Lambda, API Gateway.
2. Containerization Technologies: Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
3. Cluster Management: Experience with ECS and EKS Managed node clusters, and Fargate.
4. Scripting Proficiency: Linux, Unix shell scripts, Python, Ruby, etc.
5. Configuration Management & Deployment Tools: Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.
6. CI/CD Tools: Mastery of Jenkins and experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
7. Version Control: Competency in Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
8. Cloud Vendor DevOps Services: Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.
9. Development Background: Must have prior experience in software development.
10. Monitoring Tools: Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios.
11. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
12. AWS IAM Policies: Awareness of IAM policies and security guidelines.
13. Networking Knowledge: Understanding of AWS network components.

Good-to-Have Skills:

1. Experience in integrating SCM, Code Quality, Code Coverage, and Testing tools for CI/CD pipelines.
2. Developer background with experience in code analysis tools like SonarQube, Fortify, etc.
3. Strong understanding of static code analysis.
