About DIYguru Mobility Pvt. Ltd:

DIYguru is India's leading platform for upskilling professionals and students in the Electric Vehicle (EV) and future-mobility sectors. Our mission is to bridge the skill gap with hands-on, industry-relevant learning that prepares learners for tomorrow's workforce in EV, battery technology, and sustainable mobility.

Role Overview

We are building a hands-on Automotive Software Engineering Program focused on AUTOSAR-based ECU development workflows using the Vector MICROSAR Classic toolchain (DaVinci Developer Configurator, CANoe).

We are looking for a Senior AUTOSAR Engineer who can bridge real-world ECU development and learning design—someone who can design and build end-to-end, executable AUTOSAR workflows and translate them into structured, hands-on learning modules.

You will work directly with the Vector MICROSAR Classic toolchain to build executable use cases, simulate ECU behavior, and develop clear, step-by-step technical modules around these workflows.

It is execution-driven, requiring high ownership, speed, and strong delivery discipline within a defined 3-month build phase.

What You Will Work On

You will be responsible for building and demonstrating 2–3 end-to-end AUTOSAR ECU workflows, covering following key areas:

Core Workflow Areas:

● AUTOSAR-based software component (SWC) development

RTE generation and integration

● Basic Software (BSW) configuration and ECU integration

● AUTOSAR communication stack (COM, PduR, CanIf )

● CAN-based communication setup and signal flow design

ECU simulation and validation using CANoe

Extended Areas (as applicable):

● Basic diagnostics workflows (UDS concepts, CANdela Studio usage)

● SIL-style execution using vVIRTUALtargetD

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for building a structured, executable AUTOSAR learning and simulation ecosystem using the Vector toolchain.

1. Tool Chain Execution

● Define practical usage of the Vector toolchain within selected workflows.

● Establish a clear mapping of how tools such as DaVinci Developer, DaVinci Configurator, CANoe, and CANdela fit into an end-to-end ECU development workflow (SWC design → configuration → communication → testing 7 validation → diagnostics).

2. AUTOSAR Workflow Development

● Design and implement 2–3 end-to-end AUTOSAR-based ECU workflows covering SWC development, RTE integration, BSW configuration, AUTOSAR communication stack (COM, PduR, CanIf – at workflow level) and ECU setup, validation & testing.

● Work hands-on with Vector MICROSAR toolchain, including:

○ DaVinci Developer

○ DaVinci Configurator

○ CANoe

Simulate and validate ECU behavior using CANoe

● Incorporate basic diagnostics workflows (CANdela Studio) and SIL-based execution (vVIRTUALtarget), where applicable

3. Content Development (Core Responsibility)

● Translate AUTOSAR workflows into structured modules, with logical progression across AUTOSAR development flow.

● Create practical exercises, guided projects, and demonstrations emphasizing hands-on reproducibility.

● Ensure all content reflects industry-standard OEM/Tier-1 practices, not just theory.

 4. Use-Case & Project Development

● Develop realistic, executable AUTOSAR-based use-cases spanning ECU development, communication, simulation, and basic diagnostics, ensuring they reflect real-world development workflows.

5. Internal Capability Building

● Guide internal engineers on tool usage, workflow understanding, and content development approach.

● Document workflows to ensure scalability and reusability of the program

6. Live Program Support (Optional)

● Support live sessions and assist learners in understanding workflows and troubleshoot technical challenges.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Must Have

● 4–8 years of experience in automotive embedded software development

● Strong hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Classic Platform

Hands-On Experience with:

○ DaVinci Developer

○ DaVinci Configurator

○ CANoe

● Solid understanding of:

  • AUTOSAR architecture (BSW, RTE, SWC)
  • ECU software development lifecycle
  • AUTOSAR communication stack (COM, PduR, CanIf)
  • CAN communication fundamentals
  • CANoe simulation & testing;

Good to Have

  • Exposure to CAPL scripting
  • Diagnostics knowledge (UDS, DBC, CDD concepts, CANdela Studio exposure)
  • Exposure to simulation (SIL/HIL concepts, vVIRTUALtarget)
  • Experience in embedded C development and debugging
  • Exposure to automotive Ethernet communication
  • Basic familiarity with EV systems (BMS, charging, or powertrain)

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Engineer from OEM / Tier-1 / automotive software company with hands-on AUTOSAR experience.
  • Comfortable working across development and validation workflows.
  • Able to translate complex workflows into structured, easy-to-understand modules.
  • Strong ownership and execution mindset under tight timelines.
  • Excellent technical communication skills and interest in mentoring or upskilling others.

This role is central to building a high-quality automotive software program from the ground up. You will directly shape how learners understand and apply AUTOSAR in real-world scenarios. Your work will define the practical depth and credibility of the program.
