Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support functional, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Lead efforts to improve test automation coverage and effectiveness.
Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices and tools.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in test automation.
Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in test automation and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Support manual testing efforts as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software test automation.
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Strong programming/scripting skills in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
