Your Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in planning automation development and delivery, ensuring alignment with product development cycles and release goals.
- Work closely with Product Development, Functional Consultants and Testing teams to define and prepare comprehensive standard test scenarios.
- Run tests on various application components and features to identify and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Design test scenarios to ensure full requirement coverage via automation; prepare and maintain test cases, track defects, and manage the overall testing process.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather test requirements and ensure complete understanding of application functionality.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve them.
- Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks, tools, and processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure continuous integration and delivery pipelines are properly integrated with automated testing (Jenkins pipeline experience is a must).
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent in a technical field.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficient in Java (preferred), Python, or C#.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Serenity, TestNG, BDD, and Cucumber.
- Solid understanding of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of written and spoken English proficiency.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to lead and mentor team members as needed.
