As a Playwright BDD Automation Senior Software Engineer QA, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright and implementing Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with extensive experience in automation testing, a strong understanding of BDD, and preferably some background in the P&C insurance domain.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in requirements analysis and translate them into BDD features and scenarios.

2. Able to come up with scenarios and test cases in BDD(Gherkin format).

3. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with C#.

4. Execute the automation scripts, debug for the failures and update the script based on the requirement.

5. Integrate automated tests with the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.

6. Participate in Scrum calls (internal and client) and provide status from QA perspective.

7. Able to analyze features for automation feasibility using Playwright and BDD.

8. Following the standard Testing procedures and BDD best practices established for the project.

9. Publish the test execution results with the reason for failures and mitigation plan to avoid them in future execution rounds.

Requirements

Must Have:

1. At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in test automation using Playwright.

2. Strong knowledge of Billing functionality in any platform.

3. Proficient/ Hands on experience in C# programming.

4. Strong understanding and practical experience implementing Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).

5. Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

6. Ensure all issues are properly logged with clear steps to reproduce. Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.

7. Strong understanding of web application testing principles and methodologies.

Good to Have:

1. Insurance (P&C) domain knowledge.

2. Experience with other automation tools and frameworks

3. Experience in API testing
