Role Overview

Trianz is building Concierto — a next-generation AI-native enterprise platform for cloud transformation. This is not a conventional QA role. We're looking for a senior QA Engineer who can own the quality engineering layer end-to-end: designing automation frameworks, driving API and functional coverage, and applying AI-augmented practices to a technically complex, cloud-native product.

This is a high-autonomy role. You will work alongside AI engineers, platform architects, and product teams in a startup-style environment — setting quality standards, not just executing against them.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Engineering

• Design and build scalable E2E automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium
• Architect reusable component libraries, page object models, and CI/CD-integrated test pipelines
• Handle real-time and streaming data test scenarios inherent to agentic platform workflows

API Testing

• Own API test strategy across REST — functional, schema, contract, and negative testing
• Build API automation using Postman / Newman, REST Assured, or framework-native patterns
• Validate auth flows (OAuth, JWT), error handling, rate limits, and data integrity across services

Functional & Regression Quality

• Design and maintain comprehensive functional and regression suites across enterprise workflows
• Apply formal testing techniques — EP, BVA, Decision Tables, State Transition Testing — rigorously
• Own quality metrics: defect leakage, automation coverage, escape rate, and execution efficiency

AI-Augmented Quality

• Use AI-assisted tools for test generation, coverage analysis, and intelligent defect classification
• Validate AI/LLM outputs — accuracy, determinism, hallucination risk, and failure modes
• Contribute to testing conversational and agentic UX workflows within the Concierto platform

Cloud Infrastructure Awareness

• Navigate AWS / Azure / GCP environments to configure test infra and diagnose cloud-layer failures
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised test execution environments
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD integration and environment consistency

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• 7–8+ years of QA engineering experience across automation, functional, and API testing
• Exposure to cloud-native, SaaS, or AI/ML platform testing environments preferred

Automation Expertise

• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright (TypeScript) and/or Selenium — framework design, not just scripting
• Experience building data-driven, parallel, and CI-integrated automation architectures
• Strong understanding of locator strategy, selector stability, and auto-healing patterns

API & Functional Testing

• Deep proficiency in API testing — functional, contract, schema validation, and security-adjacent scenarios
• Strong application of formal techniques: EP, BVA, Decision Tables, State Transition
• Ability to design risk-based test strategies and prioritize coverage under time constraints

AI & Cloud Exposure

• Experience testing AI/ML features or LLM-powered interfaces is highly preferred
• Familiarity with AI-assisted QA tooling — test generation, intelligent test selection, output validation
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container tooling
