We are looking for a skilled SDET with 58 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and Java. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and ensuring high quality across web-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java
- Automate functional, regression, and smoke test suites for web applications
- Actively participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test design activities
- Execute automated test cases as part of CI/CD pipelines and analyze failures
- Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as RestAssured or similar
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work closely with developers for resolution
- Ensure test coverage across different browsers and environments
- Review automation code and enforce best practices, coding standards, and reusability
- Contribute to test metrics, reporting, and continuous quality improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
- Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
- Good understanding of Maven/Gradle for build and dependency management
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Solid knowledge of software testing fundamentals (STLC, defect lifecycle, test design techniques)
- Experience with API automation testing (RestAssured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
Good to Have
- Experience with SQL and database validation
- Exposure to cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
